Norman Arts Council a Great Place For Art Students
The Norman Arts Council is expanding its programs to grow the art community in Norman, which could lead to new opportunities for graduating art students looking to become established in the community, according to the Executive Director Rick Fry.
The Norman Arts Council offers several programs to apprentice aspiring artists with those who are successfully running a business, and to involve them more with the community. They are also encouraging more artists from all disciplines to become involved with the Second Friday Art Walk.
"If you're passionate about art, it's not a choice. It's just how you're hardwired. So we want to provide opportunities for them to be successful," said Fry.
